2012 5th Avenue Nominations

Hanford High School Drama is proud to participate in the 2012 Seattle 5th Avenue High School Musical Theater Awards. 5th Avenue judges evaluated 93 school musicals around the state. It is the high school version of Broadway’s Tony Awards. The winners will be announced at the 5th Avenue Awards ceremony June 4 in Seattle.

Hanford High School’s production of Really Rosie, directed by Deb Donahoe and Peggy Painter, and The Music Man, directed by Matt Leggett received the following nominations:

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast, Really Rosie
Honorable Mention for Outstanding Direction, Really Rosie
Honorable Mention for Outstanding Lighting Design, Really Rosie
Honorable Mention for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, Caleb Steinmeyer as Johnnie in Really Rosie

Honorable Mention for Outstanding Orchestra, The Music Man, Orchestra directed by Kevin Swisher
Honorable Mention for Outstanding Performance by a Chorus, The Music Man
Honorable Mention for Outstanding Costume Design
